You are wrong. You can also store your Series X/S games on an external drive but you can’t play them but can transfer to your Xbox as needed so that expansion card is not needed.

Gaming Youtubers need to understand the difference between PCIe Gen 4 NVMe ssd and slower but cheaper SATA based SSDs. The Xbox expansion card is priced pretty standard for a Gen 4 card.

For the price of the charge and play kit you could alternately just buy 4 rechargeable AA batteries that comes with a charger. And youll always have a set ready to go while youre using another set.

Correction: You CAN store Series X optimized games on the external drive, but to play them you will have to transfer them to the internal ssd. This gives you a bit more wiggle room since you can select which games to switch between disks.

Sorry, but what you've said about the 'Xbox Series X/S' Storage is wrong !!

Yes, the New 'Series' games have to be Played from either the Internal SSD or Seagates $219 Proprietary External SSD BUT they can actually be Stored on any External HDD as well…..Just simply transfer it onto either one of those SSD's before you want to play a New 'Series' game and transfer speeds have been drastically improved compared to Xbox One Transfer Speeds, so this shouldn't be too much of a problem if you don't want to pay out for Seagates External SSD right away !!

Where-as All other Xbox games (OG Xbox, 360 and One) can be Stored AND ALSO Played from any External HDD, but if you want to get the benefit of the Backwards Compatible Upgrades then you will have to transfer the game onto either one of those SSD's, the same as when you want to play a New 'Series' game !!

I just wanted to clarify this for those thinking about getting a New 'Series' Console…..Because of the improved transfer speeds and the fact that you can transfer games while you play as well…..It's not as bad as it might sound !!

I've managed to Pre-Order my 'Series X' and I'm looking forward to having Very Little to No More Loading Times but, most of all it's the doubling of frame rates (sometimes more) for both New and Old Games that's going to have the most impact for everyone imo…..Nice One Microsoft, Cheers !!

TIP: You can easily use your 3.1 external hard drive for running ALL your current games on Xbox Series X and S consoles and ONLY use the SSD's internal memory to store ONLY optimized games for new consoles.

The rechargeable battery packs for xbox controllers are junk because no one is testing to make sure they last I went threw 2 battery packs in a month because they wouldn't charge anymore after 2 weeks so I got a 2 battery pack plus charger on Amazon for 25 dollars the pack are 2550 mah where Microsoft battery packs are 1200 and don't last my 2550 mah battery packs get about 40 of game time before they need recharged

The expansion cards are way overpriced I don't see how ppl keep trying defend this obviously overpriced SSD. They say shit like oh but it's inline with the price for SSD's on PC or the PS5's SSD will likely cost just as much like this some how justifies how overpriced it is lol. Looks at it this way a 1TB SD card from SanDisk is $250 as well but I don't see anybody saying that's a GOOD price for for that either lol 🤣🤣🤣. The fact of the matter is these expansion cards are a straight up rip-off nobody should buy these things and we should force them to drop the price of it. But if they still fly off the shelves at that price then they'll have no insentive to drop the price. So we'll see if Xbox gamers are sheep or are they men by wether or not these ridiculous ass drives sell I know I ain't touching that shit at that price.

The fact that everything about the Xbox Series X controllers is backwards compatible means I can use the battery packs I already have for my Xbox One controllers because they are the same standard battery size plus when it comes to USB-C cables I already have a tone of those.

I know they've made it confusing, but if you use External HDD storage, you can play any Xbox games prior to the S-X from the External, while STORING S-X games on the External and swapping between the External and unit to PLAY S-X games. Get your facts straight, GB!

"Gaming jourlanists" Yes… SSDs are expensive.. yes… The Series S is Partly cheaper because it has less Storage? Before you bash Xbox for half the video.. why dont you mention that PS5 only hass 800? 200 more Than Series S… and 200 Less than Series X… For $500… THAT would be an interesting video… stop regurgitating reddit and do some research… you're "Insight" on the play 'n charge kit that's existed forever was hilarious… 😂
